IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce
The IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce, or Management Center, is a suite of tools to support store management, merchandising, and marketing tasks for business users (Sellers, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Catalog Managers, and others).
Catalogs tool
Use the Catalogs tool in Management Center to manage catalogs, categories, catalog entries, merchandising associations, product attributes, and attachments in your store. The Catalogs tool lets business users create, and manage online catalogs. Catalogs provide a way of organizing the products that you want to sell. You define catalog data in groups of categories and products. Catalog data contains descriptions and pricing information for products and services.
Working with IBM Digital Analytics product and search reports
You can open in Management Center several catalog-related reports from IBM Digital Analytics, formerly known as Coremetrics Analytics. After you open a report, you can view any other reports and dashboards that are available to you in IBM Digital Analytics.
Viewing the IBM Digital Analytics Product Categories By Category report
The Product Categories by Category report IBM Digital Analytics, formerly known as Coremetrics Analytics shows metrics for product sales, views, and abandonment, aggregated by category. Use this report to optimize customer interactions with specific products and categories.

        Facets group similar items and attributes together in the left sidebar of your store to target meaningful product results.         The On-Site Search report IBM Digital Analytics, formerly known as Coremetrics Analytics, provides detailed metrics for the most popular search terms your customers enter when they use your onsite search. By using data from this report, you can identify commonly searched terms, and successful and unsuccessful searches. You can also view the number of orders received and sales generated in the same session in which customers searched using a specific term. Use this report to optimize marketing campaigns for onsite search interactions.

        The Product Categories by Category report IBM Digital Analytics, formerly known as Coremetrics Analytics shows metrics for product sales, views, and abandonment, aggregated by category. Use this report to optimize customer interactions with specific products and categories.
        Viewing the IBM Digital Analytics Cross Sold Products report
        The Cross Sold Products report IBM Digital Analytics, formerly known as Coremetrics Analytics lists the top 20 items that are purchased on your site by unique buyers, and the top five items that were cross sold with each of these products during the selected time period. For each cross sold item, this report lists the number of common buyers over the time period, and the number of common visitors who purchased the two items during the same visit. Use this information to optimize future cross selling campaigns.

        Not all fields in the Catalogs tool views are displayed by default. This page lists all of the database fields that can be displayed in a properties view in the Catalogs tool, and if they are displayed by default.

Viewing the IBM Digital Analytics Product Categories By Category report

The Product Categories by Category report IBM Digital Analytics, formerly known as Coremetrics Analytics shows metrics for product sales, views, and abandonment, aggregated by category. Use this report to optimize customer interactions with specific products and categories.

Procedure

Open the Catalogs tool.
In the explorer view, click a catalog to display its categories.
Right-click any category, and then click View Product Categories By Category Report.
If prompted, log on to IBM Digital Analytics.

Results

In a new browser, the Product Categories By Category report displays in IBM Digital Analytics.
