The information contained in this section applies to IBM WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0.0.9 and Feautre Pack 8. The documentation also applies to all subsequent releases and modifications until otherwise indicated in new editions.
Samples
Starter stores
A fully functional sample online store, provided in store archive format with WebSphere Commerce. Starter stores are samples designed to be used as a base from which a customized online store can be created. Starter stores are translated into several languages and support multiple Web browsers and platforms. Starter stores are fully accessible, with the exception of the Madisons mobile starter store. Accessibility guidelines for mobile devices are not well defined or well established.
Mobile starter stores
WebSphere Commerce provides optimized starter stores for mobile devices such as smart phones containing Web browsers. Mobile starter stores demonstrate best practices in mobile store development with WebSphere Commerce, and can act as a base for implementing mobile storefronts.
Madisons mobile starter store
The Madisons mobile starter store provides a simplified storefront for mobile devices such as smartphones. It contains subsets of functionality that is provided by the Madisons starter store, optimized for common mobile HTML web browsers.

The site flow and interactions in the Madisons mobile starter store provides a comprehensive layout of each store page, and their relationships with other pages.
Mobile checkout flows
The checkout flows in the Madisons mobile starter store include the shopping cart, sign in, store locator, store locator results, store list, billing address selection or entry, payment method, order summary, and order confirmation pages.
Mobile checkout store list
The customer can select a store location from their store list to pickup their order. Each store location in the store list contains the store's name, address, hours of operation, phone number, and stock status.

Feature Pack 8: The Madisons store is deprecated. Most features demonstrated in the Madisons store are available in the Aurora store.

Mobile checkout store list

The customer can select a store location from their store list to pickup their order. Each store location in the store list contains the store's name, address, hours of operation, phone number, and stock status. A store location can be removed from the store list. Once a store is selected, the customer can continue their checkout and complete their billing and payment information.

JSP files

SelectedStoreList.jsp represents the entire page, with the fromPage = ‘ShoppingCart' input parameter specified for checkout-related behavior.

JSP file fragments

BreadCrumbTrailDisplay.jspf displays the breadcrumb trail.
StoreHoursIndex.jspf displays the store hours.

When a store name is clicked, StoreDetails is called.
When Remove is clicked, mRemoveFromStoreList is called.
