After you install a feature pack, you should verify that
the installation was successful.
Procedure
- Launch Installation Manager by going to the
directory where Installation Manager was installed and running IBMIM.exe.
Alternatively, you can launch Installation
Manager as follows:
- Review the installation history by selecting .
- Ensure the Update Activity for the IBM WebSphere Commerce
Developer Enterprise/Express/Professional package reported
success.
- Ensure the Install Activity for the IBM WebSphere Commerce
Developer feature pack package reported success.
- Check WCDE_installdir/logs/update/7.0.0-WS-WCDeveloper(Enterprise/Professional/Express)-FP00X.install/updatelog.txt to
ensure there is a
INSTCONFSUCCESS message at the
end of the log file, and check WCDE_installdir/logs/updatedb.log
to ensure there is a BUILD SUCCESSFUL message at
the end of the log file. These logs are used to verify the fix pack
installation for WebSphere Commerce Developer is successful.
- If you selected any features to enable,
run the check enablement status script to confirm their status.
- If there are warning or error messages
in any of the log files, refer to Troubleshooting: WebSphere Commerce installation issues.
