Database manager configuration file is not valid
After migrating your DB2 database to a higher version, you get an error message when you run the updatedb or enablefeature command.

Error "content of the database manager configuration file is not valid"

After migrating your DB2 database to a higher version, you get an error message when you run the updatedb or enablefeature command.

Problem

After migrating your DB2 database, you see the following error:

SQL5050C The content of the database manager configuration file is not valid.
Error in MassLoading, please check logs for details.

Solution

Ensure that you successfully complete steps 6 to 10 of Migrating your database from DB2 V9.5 to DB2 V9.7. Make sure that the XML file is updated properly and that the SQL command runs successfully.
