Specifically, you can monitor, manage, and control the power usage settings on the computers in your network

    Power Management offers tools like Fixlets and wizards to regulate computer power states and reduce energy wastage from idle computers. Users can control sleep, hibernation, and standby modes through the Reduce Power Consumption node in the navigation tree.

The results are based on the actual power state history of each agent over the last two weeks, providing an accurate projection of potential savings.

      The Power consumption over time report illustrates the average computer power consumption over a defined period, comparing costs or savings against a baseline cost from the start date. It is beneficial for assessing historical savings and monitoring the effectiveness of power management policies, requiring Historical Power Tracking to be enabled for access.

      The Weekly Power Consumption Over Time report displays the average weekly power consumption data per computer, showcasing savings compared to the initial week. The report includes a chart detailing the breakdown of power consumption in terms of cost, power, and carbon, along with a table summarizing total consumption and savings by group.

      The Power Management Daily Activity State breakdown report provides a breakdown of average daily activity states such as Active, Idle, Standby, and Powered off. It enables users to evaluate power policy changes, identify areas for power savings, and compare improvements over different days, requiring historical power tracking to be enabled. Selecting the current date for comparison may lead to longer report generation times due to pre-calculated historical data.

      The Weekly Idle Time Breakdown Over Time report displays the weekly idle time breakdown per computer over a specified time frame and indicates the reduction in idle time compared to the initial week. Historical power tracking must be enabled for the comparison function to work, and selecting a new week is necessary if no historical data is available.

      The Power Management settings report displays the percentage of computers with enabled power management settings on a given day and allows for comparing improvements between different days. Enabling historical power tracking is necessary for the comparison feature to function, and selecting the current date for comparison may result in longer report generation times due to pre-calculated data for previous dates.

Web Reports

Power Management Web Reports offer a comprehensive overview of power usage for management and decision-making purposes. Accessible by logging in with a username and password, users can view and assess reports by selecting Systems Lifecycle from the main Web Reports page.

Power Management Web Reports provides high-level summary data for management and decision makers to view and assess power usage in a deployment.

To access Web Reports, click Tools > Launch Web Reports.

Enter your Web Reports username and password. Click Login.

The main Web Reports page opens in a new browser. To see a list of Power Management reports, select Systems Lifecycle.
