Configuring VM Managers
To configure the VM Manager tool, run the Configure Collection of Oracle Auditing Data in VM Manager Tool task with the 'Collect Oracle auditing data in VM Manager Tool' option enabled to collect additional data required by Oracle.
Oracle data related to virtualization is collected by the VM Manager tool and uploaded to the BigFix server during the capacity data transfer. The data transfer to BigFix Inventory server is triggered only on user demand, not during data imports.
Once you run the above task, check the results of the 'Oracle Auditing Data Collection
Settings' analysis to see if the Oracle Auditing option is enabled and if the minimal VM
Manager Tool version is installed. After collecting all Oracle data in BigFix Inventory
and verifying results, additional data collection might be disabled. To change the
setting, run 'Configure Collection of Oracle Auditing Data in VM Manager Tool' with
'Collect Oracle auditing data in VM Manager Tool' option unselected.
Note: Use the latest versions of BigFix Inventory components, tasks
and fixlets, including all installed VM Manager tools and related fixlets. For
Oracle Measurements, use all installed VM Manager tools with at least one VM Manager
of VMware ESX, ESXi or vCenter type must have 'Collection of Oracle Auditing Data'
enabled (which is disabled by default).

Perform the below steps to
change the setting:
- Run the Update VM Manager Tool to version xxx fixlet if the VM Manager tool version is below 10.0.14.0. Use 'VM Manager Information' analysis to check the current version.
- Run the 'Schedule VM Manager Scan Results Upload' task with version at least 10.0.14.0. If an older version is listed, stop the process and start with the new version from BigFix Inventory version 10.
