Upgrading from Earlier Version of Z and I Emulator for Web

A user cannot upgrade the deployment wizard from v1.0 or v2.0 to v3.0. Execute the following steps for upgrading:

1. Stop the Z and I Emulator for Web windows service and Non-windows Z and I Emulator for Web process manually and then perform HCL Z and I Emulator for Web migrate installation.
2. Z and I Emulator for Web Application must be closed.
3. Z and I Emulator for Web v3.0 supports to migrate existing Z and I Emulator for Web.
4. Z and I Emulator for Web does not support multiple instances of same version.

To upgrade the HCL Z and I Emulator for Web from v2.1 to 3.0 perform the following steps :

1. Launch HCLZ and I Emulator for Web setup using GUI or Console or Silent mode.
2. It automatically detects and displays the installed version on multiple instance panel, based on user selection perform upgrade or New Instance installation.
3. Retains the user defined customized files on upgrade.
