Upgrading from Earlier Version of HACL ToolKit

A user cannot upgrade the deployment wizard from v1.0 or v2.0 to v3.0. Execute the following steps before upgrading:
  1. Take a backup of any customized files from the HACL ToolKit directory. The user edit any existing files with the Version v.1.0 to v2.0 HACL ToolKit.
  2. The new HACL ToolKit requires that an empty path be available. Hence, rename or delete the existing folder of the HACL ToolKit installation.
  3. Install HACL ToolKit using the Host On-Demand.
  4. Re-deploy customized files on the HACL ToolKit installation folder.
    Note: The direct upgrade is not possible, either user can install v3.0 as a separate path or they can uninstall and install as fresh product.
To upgrade the HACL Toolkit from v2.1 to v3.0 perform the following steps:
  1. Launch HACL Toolkit setup using GUI or Console or Silent mode.
  2. It automatically detects and reads the previous configured information and performing upgrade installation.
  3. Retains the user defined customized files on upgrade.
