Upgrading from Earlier Versions of Deployment Wizard

A user cannot upgrade the deployment wizard from v1.0 or v2.0 to v3.0. Execute the following steps before upgrading:
  1. Take a backup of any customized files from the Deployment Wizard directory. A user can edit any existing files with the Version 1.0 or 2.0 Deployment Wizard.
  2. The new Deployment Wizard requires that an empty path be available. Hence, rename or delete the existing folder of the Deployment Wizard installation.
  3. Install Deployment Wizard using the Z and I Emulator for Web.
  4. Re-deploy customized files on the Deployment Wizard installation folder.
To upgrade the deployment wizard from v2.1 to v3.0 perform the following steps:
  1. Launch the Deployment wizard setup using GUI or Console or Silent mode.
  2. It automatically detects and reads the previous configured information and performing upgrade installation.
  3. Retain the user defined customized files on upgrade.
