Information to collect when you encounter daily planning problems
If you receive an error message related to daily planning,
gather the following information, for any problem that you have.
- Reconstruct the sequence of events that caused the problem. Include
any commands that you entered just before the problem occurred. Write down the exact events that lead to the problem:
- What was the first indication of the problem?
- What were you trying to do?
- What should have happened?
- What did happen?
- Can you re-create the problem?
- Before running the daily plan batch, collect an APAR tape including
the new current plan and a console dump including data spaces as shown
below:
