To locate parent or child versions or branches
About this task
You can see the immediate predecessor or immediate successor of a version or branch.
Procedure
- In the Version Tree Browser window, display the version tree for an element.
- Right-click the relation marker for a version or branch. The marker thickens.
- Click one of the following:
- Locate Parent Node to see the immediate predecessor of the version or branch.
- Locate Child Node to see the immediate successor of the version or branch.

- A flashlight opens in the version tree next to the result of your query to indicate the respective predecessor or successor version.
- Click anywhere in the version tree to remove the flashlight.
