Importing or attaching pictures or files

You can import or attach pictures or files into documents.

Procedure

  1. Select the import or attach tool:

    Import Import tool Shows the content of the picture or file in the document.

    Attach: Attach tool Adds the picture or file as an attachment.

  2. Choose one of the following options
    • Take a Picture Take a picture with the device camera and then import or attach it.
    • Choose from Photos Choose from a picture you took before and then import or attach it.
    • Choose from Files Choose from a file on the device and then import or attach it.

Results

You can import any picture from your camera. You can import the following types of files:
  • TXT
  • RTF
  • HTML
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • BMP
  • GIF
You can attach any picture from your camera or file. You can view the following types of attachments:
  • iWork
  • Microsoft Office documents (Office ‘97 and newer)
  • Rich Text Format (RTF)
  • PDF
  • Image
  • Text
  • Comma-separated value (CSV)
  • 3D models in USDZ format
