Automation Configuration

Manage Data Source

  1. Manage Data Source page will help to make the required configurations in order to communicate with ITSM tools for different purposes.
  2. This page contains 5 sections.
    1. Organization
      • This section contains the ITSM tool details for which datasource configuration is creating
    2. Fetch Data
      • This section contains all the required details to fetch the tickets from ITSM tool using API calls.
    3. Release Rules
      • This section contains all the required details to update (releasing the ticket) the tickets in ITSM tool using API calls
    4. Close Rules
      • This section contains all the required details to update (closing the ticket) the tickets in ITSM tool using API calls.
    5. InProgress Rules
      • This section contains all the required details to update (make to Inprogress) the tickets in ITSM tool using API calls.
  3. Following actions can be done on manage datasource page
    1. create datasource
    2. update datasource
    3. view/list datasource
    4. delete datasource

Manage Data Source List

  1. Navigate to the customers list

  2. Click on customer edit
  3. Expand the Automation Menu
  4. Click on Manage Data Source menu

Create Manage Data Source

  1. Click on Add Data Source.
  2. Select the Module ,Service Integration type and timezone , and enter the data source name for which combination needs to create a new Data source.
  3. Need to fill all the section map the tool data.

  4. Need to fill all the tab for the map tool data.

  5. Need to fill Connection details.

  6. After filling the connection details you can test the connection for test connection click on Test connection button.

  7. Need to fill URL path Parameter.

  8. Need to add the data which is respective to the tool.

  9. After filling all the data click on submit to save the details.

Edit Manage Data Source

Select the specific datasource those need to update Delete Manage Data Source Entry Exit Criteria.
  1. On the dataSource Listing page click on the Entry Exit Criteria filter .

  2. After filling all the data click on submit/Update button .

  3. Data Successfully updated .

Delete Manage Data Source

  1. Delete the specific datasource click on delete icon.

  2. After clicking on Confirm data will be deleted.
