Parse (NotesSAXParser - LotusScript®)

Processes input XML by raising the SAX parser events.

Syntax

Call notesSAXParser .Parse( [ input ] , [ output ] )

Parameters

input

Variant. The input XML. A string or an object of the following type:

• NotesRichTextItem
• NotesStream

Defaults to SetInput or the input parameter of CreateSAXParser.

output

Variant. Output. An object of the following type:

• NotesRichTextItem
• NotesStream

Defaults to SetOutput or the output parameter of CreateSAXParser.

Usage

This method is an alternative to Process if pipelining is not used.

You cannot explicitly read or write a NotesStream object associated with a file prior to using it for XML input or output. For example, if you write to a file then use it for XML input, you must close and reopen the NotesStream object.
