About Rational® ClearQuest® policies for the deliver operation

If your project uses the UCM integration with Rational® ClearQuest®, your project manager may enable the following Rational® ClearQuest® policies:

• Check Before ClearCase® Delivery. This policy runs a customized Rational® ClearQuest® script when you start the deliver operation. For example, your project manager may create a script that checks for dependencies between Rational® ClearQuest® records. Before you can continue the deliver operation, you must satisfy any requirements established by this policy.
• Do ClearQuest® Action After Delivery. This policy runs a Rational® ClearQuest® script when you complete the deliver operation. If the script returns an error, the deliver operation stops. You must correct the error before the deliver operation can continue.

If your organization uses DevOps Code ClearCase® MultiSite and the UCM integration with Rational® ClearQuest®, the activity object and its Rational® ClearQuest® user database record must be mastered locally before you can work on, set, or change an activity.
