Installing and using z/OS® Extensions
z/OS® Extensions is a component of IBM® Rational® ClearCase® that enables mainframe users to perform select DevOps Code ClearCase operations. z/OS Extensions include Remote Build, TSO Client, and ClearCase RAM (CCRAM).
Using the TSO Client feature
Use the TSO Client feature to perform DevOps Code ClearCase® operations on the distributed system without leaving the mainframe system environment.
Preparing to work with files
After you set up your TSO Client environment and start the client component of TSO Client, you must complete these tasks before you can work with your files.

Procedure

To select a profile, follow these steps:

On the option line of the TSO Client Main Menu, type 0.
Select the profile you want to use by typing s next to the profile name.
Press Enter to exit and save your changes.

Results

After you select a definition, it remains the default definition for your TSO session until you change it. Be aware that when you select your profile, TSO Client performs an active refresh of your mainframe file list. For more information, see Refreshing copy areas.
