ClearCase view update results
The Results tab of the DevOps Code ClearCase® View Configuration tool displays the results of a ClearCase view configuration change.
Whenever you change the configuration of a ClearCase view, the results of that change are displayed in the Results tab of the ClearCase View Configuration tool. Any of the following operations can change a ClearCase view's configuration and cause the ClearTeam® Explorer to load, unload, or update resources under ClearCase control:
- Changing the load rules for a web view, snapshot view, or automatic view, either by using the Edit Configuration dialog box or by selecting a remote resource in the ClearTeam Navigator view and loading it.
- Changing the view's version-selection rules
- Updating the entire web view, snapshot view, or automatic view, or updating selected resources within it.
In addition, when you use Restore Resources to resolve a discordance between the server and a web view or automatic view, the list of resources affected by the restore operation is displayed in the Results tab.
Columns in the table
The following columns are displayed on the Results tab of the ClearCase View Configuration tool:
Column name | Displays |
---|---|
Name | The name of the resource that was updated. |
State | The ClearCase state of the resource after the update is complete. |
Path | The full path name to the resource. |
You can sort the table by any column, in ascending or descending lexical order. Click any column header to sort by that column, or click the icon on the toolbar and select Sort to specify sorting options. You can also adjust the size of each column. Any changes you make to the sort order or column size are automatically saved for the associated object and are applied every time you view that object in the current and subsequent sessions.
