ClearCase® view creation wizards
Use the DevOps Code ClearCase® view creation wizards to create a ClearCase® view.
Base ClearCase® and UCM require different types of views. You must choose one or the other before you create the views you will need. For more information on these choices, see Working with resources under DevOps Code ClearCase source control.
The ClearTeam® Explorer includes two view creation wizards, which are accessible from the ClearCase® advanced toolbar. To create a ClearCase® view, take one of the following actions:
- Click the
icon on the ClearCase® toolbar or select ClearCase > Create View from the menu bar
to start the View Creation wizard. A dialog with a choice of view types is displayed. You can also
create a UCM view by selecting a UCM stream in the ClearTeam
Navigator, right-clicking, and selecting Create
View from the context menu. - Click the
icon on the ClearCase® UCM toolbar or select ClearCase > Join Project from the menu bar
to start the Join UCM Project wizard. You can also join a UCM project by selecting a UCM stream in
the ClearTeam
Navigator, right-clicking, and selecting
Join Project from the context menu. For more information, see Joining a UCM project and creating UCM views.
Selecting ClearCase > Create View from the menu bar displays the following dialogs, which enable you to specify the view's type, its view tag, and other options and configuration parameters for the view.
