About Mylyn task integration

When running Base ClearCase® in Eclipse, the ClearTeam® Explorer for Eclipse recognizes Mylyn tasks.

If you are using Base ClearCase in Eclipse and you have the Mylyn Tasktop product installed, the ClearTeam Explorer for Eclipse recognizes Mylyn tasks in two ways.

In the first instance, after making changes to a file in the Eclipse Package Explorer and then checking the file out of ClearCase source control, the Comment field on the ClearCase Check In dialog box automatically contains the associated Mylyn task description when you attempt to check the file in.

In the second instance, changes you make in the context of Mylyn tasks appear grouped by task in the ClearCase Pending Changes view.
