Changing the components of a kit

You can change the components of a kit to make the kit more attractive to customers. A kit can have only SKUs as components.

Procedure

  1. Open Commerce Lab Tools and from the left navigation menu, click Business Tools > Catalog > Master Catalog.
  2. From the explorer tree, select a catalog.
  3. Finding objects in Commerce Lab.
  4. On the list view or explorer tree, right-click the kit; then click Open.
    The Kit Properties view displays.
  5. Click the Components tab.
  6. To add a SKU, type a search string in the search field and click Find and Add. The system performs a search that is based on your search criteria, and associates the SKU by adding it to the table immediately below the search field.     The following information is populated when a SKU is added:

    Sequence The order in which the object is displayed. Numbers are displayed in ascending order.
    Type The component type.
    Code The SKUs unique identifier. This number cannot be changed.
    Name The name of the SKU.
    Quantity The number of SKUs within the selected catalog entry.
  7. To modify the Sequence or the Quantity of the SKU, click either field for the SKU you want to modify and change the value.
  8. Delete components of a kit by following the instructions in Deleting components of a kit.
  9. Click Save; then click Close.
