Shopping Cart

You can view the items added for purchase in the shopping cart.

About this task

Pickup and Delivery radio buttons are available on the Shopping Cart page to help you choose a suitable option. From the cart page you can change the items from pickup to delivery and delivery to pickup, as per the requirement.

Procedure

  1. Add items to the cart from the PLP or PDP page.
  2. Click the icon from the landing page store heading to access the shopping cart.
  3. Your current orders that have been added to cart are shown. Click the View Full Cart button to view the list of all the items added to the cart.
  4. You can perform the following actions from the Shopping Cart page:
    1. If you have not selected the store, all the items are added to the delivery option. Only the Delivery radio button is shown with the items in the cart.
    2. If you want to pick up an item from a store, click the Select a Store button first to select a store in order to give pickup option for cart items. You see the Select a Store hyperlink at the top if you have not already selected the store.
      • Click the Select a Store hyperlink on the cart page to select a store for pickup.
        Note: To select the store, you must have the location enabled in your browser.
        You are directed to the Your selected pick up location popup page. See Locating a nearby store using the Store Locator feature for more information.
        • If you have logged in to the B2C store, the Store Locator page shows a store locator map highlighting all nearby stores on the left side of the screen.
        • If no stores are available nearby, No Results Found Near You message is displayed on the screen.
        • To search for the store, enter the name of the city, state, or ZIP code in the Search Store text box. Select the store from the search results.
        • Click Set As My Store. The newly selected store becomes the default store.
        • Clear Search Results will clear all the listed stores from the Pickup drawer.
      • If you have logged in to the B2B store,
        • To search for the store, enter the name of the city, state, or ZIP code in the Search Store text box. Select the store from the search results.
        • When you click the store name, inventory details for the selected store is displayed on the right side of the screen.
          Note: If you enter quantity more than the inventory count, an error message is displayed on the cart page.
        • Click Set as my store to set the selected store as the pickup location.
        • Click Store Info drop-down to view the store details such as address, phone number, and working hours.
        • Click Find Nearest Store to list down all the nearby stores.
        • Clear Search Results will clear all the listed stores from the Pickup drawer.
      • When you select the store location, you see Pickup and Delivery, two radio buttons for each cart item. Along with the radio buttons, you can see the inventory count available for the selected item at the selected store location for pickup and delivery.
  5. Three scenarios occur while placing an order from the cart. Follow the steps as per your cart:
    • All the items in the cart are selected for the Delivery option:
      • In this case, you can place an order without selecting a store. By default, all items added to the cart are selected for delivery.
      • You can change the quantity of the items from the cart page.
      • You can delete the items added to the cart page.
      • If you have logged in as a registered customer, you can save the items added to the cart for later if you do not wish to continue with the purchase. See Save for later for more information.
      • Click Checkout button and you are directed to the Shipping Details page.
        • On this page you can enable the toggle button for Ship to multiple addresses if you want to have different items delivered to different addresses. See Multiple Shipment for Next.Js store for more details. Click Continue to Payment Details to proceed with the payment.
        • If you want to get the order delivered to a single delivery address, select Shipping Address and Shipping Method then click Continue to Payment Details to proceed with the payment.
        Note: The shipping details step only show up when there are items in the cart for delivery.
      • On the Payment Details page,
        • On this page you can enable the toggle button to Use Multiple Payment Methods if you want to use different payment methods. See Multiple Payment for the Next.Js Store for more details. Click Add a payment methods. After adding payment methods, click Confirm and Review button to review the order details.
        • If you want to make the payment with a single payment method, select the payment method, Billing Address, and Shipping Method. After selecting payment details, click Confirm and Review button to review the order details.
      • On the review order page, all the order details such as total items, shipping details, and payment details are displayed.
        Note: You cannot edit store details or quantity of the products from the review order page.
      • After reviewing details, click Place Order button to place the order.
    • All the items in the cart are selected for the Pickup option:
      • You must select a store to choose the pickup option. See 4.b for more information.
      • After selecting a store for the pickup, you see two radio buttons on the cart page.
      • You can change the quantity of the items from the cart page.
      • You can delete the items added to the cart page.
      • If you have logged in as a registered customer, you can save the items added to the cart for later, if you do not wish to continue with the purchase. See Save for later for more information.
      • Click Checkout button and you are directed to the Pickup Details page.
        • On this page, you can choose only one of the following option for picking up the order:
          • I'll pick it up
          • Someone else will pick it up
        • Select the radio button in front of the option to confirm who will pickup the item from the selected store.
        • If I'll pick it up option is selected, provide the following information:
          • First Name
          • Last Name
          • Email Address
          • Phone number
            Note: All the fields are mandatory.
        • If Someone else will pick it up option is selected, provide the following information:
          • Pickup person's full name
          • Pickup person's email
          • Buyer's full name
          Note: All the fields are mandatory.
        • You can see the information for How to pick up your order on this page.
        Note: The pickup details step only show up when there are items in cart for pickup.
      • After entering all the details click Continue to Payment Details.
      • On the Payment Details page, see payment details page information.
      • On the review order page, all the order details such as total items, Pickup details, and payment details are displayed.
        Note: You cannot edit store details or quantity of the products from the review order page.
      • After reviewing details, click Place Order button to place the order.
    • When you want to place an order with a combination of Pickup and Delivery:
      • In this case you can place an order with or without selecting a store. See 4.b for more information.
      • You can change the quantity of the items from the cart page.
      • You can delete the items added to the cart page.
      • If you have logged in as a registered customer, you can save the items added to the cart for later, if you do not wish to continue with the purchase. See Save for later for more information.
      • Click Checkout button and you are directed to the Shipping Details page. See Shipping details for more information.
      • See Pickup details for more information.
      • Click the Continue to Payment Details button to make a payment and place the order.
      • On the Payment Details page, see payment details page information.
      • On the review order page, all the order details such as total items for pickup and delivery, pickup details, shipping details, and payment details are displayed.
        Note: You cannot edit store details or quantity of the products from the review order page.
      • After reviewing details, click Place Order button to place the order.
  6. Once the order is placed, the order successful message is displayed on the screen.
