Save for later
When you decide to postpone the purchase of an item in the shopping cart, you can save it for a potential future purchase.
About this task
Only registered users will be able to see the Save for later
option.
Note: Save for later option
is only available on the Shopping Cart page.
Procedure
- Select the product category from the Next.js store. All the products in the selected category are listed on the landing page.
- Add the items you wish to purchase in the cart.
- When you view the items added to the shopping cart, you can see the Save for later option for each item added to the cart.

When you click on the Save for later option, the item
gets listed in the Saved Items column at the
bottom.
Note: When the items are saved for later, it does not save the quantity and availability. When you add the item back to cart, if the item is available for pickup or delivery; the default quantity will be one. You need to update the quantity again if you want to order more than one item.
- Click Delete all to delete all the saved items.
- Click Move all to cart to move all the saved items to the shopping cart and proceed with the checkout and purchase.
- Click the delete icon in the same row as the saved item, to delete a single item from the saved items list.
- Click the Move to cart button in the same row as the saved item to move a single item from the saved items list to the cart.
- You can sort the Price and Item Details columns from the saved items list in ascending or descending order.
- If you have more than ten items saved in the Saved Items list, they move to the next page. By default the saved items list can only show ten items on one page. Click the drop-down arrow beside Rows at the bottom of the list to increase the number of items shown. Maximum limit is 50 items.
- If no items are added to the cart, and you have a number of items in the Save for later list, you can click Shop now and continue shopping.
