Issues with Mod Pack 1 for WebSphere Commerce Developer
IBM is aware of issues with Mod Pack 1 for WebSphere Commerce Developer. Mod Pack 1 for WebSphere Commerce (runtime environment) is not affected.
If you did not download Mod Pack 1, do not download Mod Pack 1 (8.0.1.0). When available, download and install Mod Pack 1 Fix Pack 1 (8.0.1.1) or later.
Summary
If you downloaded Mod Pack 1 from IBM Fix Central, the following downloaded packages are affected:- WebSphereCommerceDeveloperENT-8.0.1.000.zip
- WebSphereCommerceDeveloperPRO-8.0.1.000.zip
- Swagger UI is not available in WebSphere Commerce Developer because ApiDiscovery was
disabled by Mod Pack 1.
- If you want to manually re-enable the Swagger UI, see REST API is disabled after you install Mod Pack 1 (8.0.1.0). Otherwise, download Mod Pack 1 Fix Pack 1 or later, when available.
- If you extended any of the following component configuration files, Mod Pack 1 overwrites your
customizations. Re-implement your customizations. IBM has made provisions to ensure that your custom
configuration files will not be overwritten in any future maintenance packages.
- WCDE_installdir/workspace/Search/xml/config/com.ibm.commerce.catalog-ext/wc-search.xml
- WCDE_installdir/workspace/Search/xml/config/com.ibm.commerce.foundation-ext/wc-component.xml
- You cannot log on to Management Center after WebSphere Commerce Developer application
security is enabled.
- Download and install Mod Pack 1 Fix Pack 1 or later.
- WebSphere Commerce Developer will always run the ProductDisPropUpdate service.
- Download and install Mod Pack 1 Fix Pack 1 or later.
