Creating a high-level functional verification test plan
The high-level functional verification test (FVT) plan is a document that is written at the beginning of the test cycle. The document is an agreement between the development team, project management team, and the FVT team on the test coverage and scope for the project. Before you begin functional verification testing, the plan is reviewed and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
