These capabilities are built into the WebSphere Commerce Aurora storefront and enable a CSR to complete key tasks on behalf of a guest and registered customers for both B2B and B2C stores. Customer Service for WebSphere Commerce is offered for both Professional and Enterprise editions.

      In the B2B direct business model, each company that purchases from your store must have one or more registered users who are assigned the Buyer Administrator role. The Aurora starter store provides a series of self-serve pages for Buyer Administrators to do their work directly in the storefront, rather than using the Organization Administration Console.
    - Order approval flows
      During organization setup, order approvals and contracts can be configured to set the criteria that determines which orders require approval. When order approvals are enabled, a Buyer Approver or Buyer Administrator must approve orders that exceed the order total limit that is specified in the contract before orders are submitted for processing. The Aurora starter store contains pages in which Buyer Approvers and Buyer Administrators can view and manage order approvals.
    - Buy-on-behalf-of flows
      The buy-on-behalf-of feature allows a Buyer Administrator to shop on behalf of a buyer in the same organization. After signing in to buy on behalf of a specific buyer, the Buyer Administrator sees the store exactly the way that buyer would see the store. The Buyer Administrator can then lock an order and proceed to create, modify, or view the buyer's information such as saved orders, order history, and requisition lists. When an order is locked, a symbol appears beside the order number.
    - Enabling punch-out payment
      You can enable punch-out payment in starter stores. Punch-out payment is a payment model where a third-party payment service provider processes payments for orders.

Aurora starter store wireframes

The Aurora starter store wireframes are a visual guide that represents how elements are arranged on the Aurora starter store pages. The wireframes can be used by user experience professionals to arrange elements or add new elements to best match a customers business objective and customization of the store.

The set of wireframes – also known as low fidelity wireframes – includes interface elements, navigational menus, a range of functions that are available, and page layouts. They do not contain a visual style but rather focus on what the screen contains and does. Included in the wireframe asset files:

How to use the wireframe files

You can use the wireframes in a number of ways. Use the wireframe to understand the site features, navigation flows, and to gather feedback with stakeholders when you review and confirm requirements. A number of wireframe formats are provided for you to use and modify as needed:

Aurora-Wireframe.rp: The wireframe Axure source file. After meeting with clients and stakeholders, you can edit the source file to include store requirements. You can also use the edited source file to generate a new set of HTML and Microsoft Word document files. You can then use these files to demonstrate to stakeholders and clients for approval.
Note: To open and edit Aurora-Wireframes.rp, you must have Axure RP Pro 6.5 from Axure Software Solutions, Inc., or equivalent software that can work with RP files.

Aurora-Wireframes-HTML-Pages.zip: The Aurora wireframe source file that is exported as set of HTML files that you can view and demonstrate to clients in a browser. The exported HTML wireframes contain some interactive functions. To view and interact with the HTML wireframes extract and open start.html.

Aurora-Wireframe-Pages.doc: The Aurora wireframe source file that is extracted to a Microsoft Word document. You can edit and print this document to include comments when you work with clients and stakeholders. You can then use the comments to edit the wireframe source file.
