Comparing products

Using the Product Compare editor, you can compare two or more products. You access the Product Compare editor through the Find Product page, which you can access while you are working with an order or by using the main menu selection. Within the Product Compare editor, you can compare product details, such as price, manufacturer, and attributes.

Procedure

1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.
2. Select a store.
3. Perform one of the following actions:
   • Open the Stores view, click on a store, and then click Product > Find.
   • Open an existing order or create a new order, and then click the Find Product icon () on the Order Items page.
4. Search for products.
5. Select two or more products in the Search Result table, and then click Compare.
6. Optional: For each product in the comparison, perform any of the following actions:
   • Click More to add more products to compare.
   • Click the Add Product to Order or Quote icon () to add the product to an order or quote.
   • Click the Select Product Attributes icon () if it is enabled and you want to select attributes for this product.

   • Note: After you select attributes on the Product Attributes page, an identifier for that specific SKU replaces the general product identifier in the editor.

7. Click the Change Product icon () to change a product to compare.
8. Click the View Product Inventory icon () to check the availability of the product.
9. Click the Remove Product icon () to remove a product from the comparison.
