Verifying the installation
After you install the feature pack, you should verify the installation.
Procedure
- After the silent install of the toolkit is complete, check
the log that you specified using the
-log
parameter during feature pack installation .Check if there are any errors or warnings. If the log file for the-log
parameter is empty, the installation was successful. For example, the log file should look like this:
You can also review the Installation Manager log files for any important information or errors. The timestamped logs can be found in the following default locations.<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <result> </result>

- Check WCDE_installdir/logs/update/7.0.0-WS-WCDeveloper(Enterprise/Professional/Express)-FP00X.install/updatelog.txt to
ensure there is a
INSTCONFSUCCESS
message at the end of the log file, and check WCDE_installdir/logs/updatedb.log to ensure there is aBUILD SUCCESSFUL
message at the end of the log file. These logs are used to verify the fix pack installation for WebSphere Commerce Developer is successful. - If you selected any features to enable,
run the check enablement status script to confirm their status.

- If there are warning or error messages in any of the log files, refer to Troubleshooting: WebSphere Commerce installation issues.
What to do next
- If required, you can change the development database type.
