WebSphere Commerce Developer points to the wrong short name for the installation directory.

Problem

WebSphere Commerce Developer uses the 8.3 file naming format. If the WebSphere Commerce Developer installation directory is renamed to something else and then back to the original name, the short name resolution and the WebSphere Commerce Developer configuration might no longer point to the correct installation directory.

Solution

Run the WCDE_installdir/bin/restoreDefault.bat command to reset WebSphere Commerce developer to factory default settings. This will change all configuration files to point to the correct short name.
