Troubleshooting: Tax calculation
There are situations when you want to define a large number of calculation rules for the tax calculation code. For example, you might want to define a large number of rules based on the Zip code.
Problem
Defining a large number of calculation rules for the tax calculation code can lead to out of memory issues.Solution
Reduce the number of calculation rules in the JURST and JURSTGROUP tables. At the JURST table level, you can define one jurisdiction for a group of zip codes through the ZIPCODESTART and ZIPCODEEND columns. Furthermore, for the jurisdictions with the same rate, you can represent them as one JurisdictionGroup, and define the rule at the JurisdictionGroup level.
