Create Schedule

This topic explains how to create and configure a patching schedule to automate patch deployment.

About this task

This task guides you through the process of creating a patching schedule. You can configure the schedule to run patching activities on a daily, weekly, monthly, or custom basis, ensuring regular and automated deployment of patches according to your organization’s requirements.

Procedure

  1. All tab, search for cmn_schedule.List, and press Enter.

  2. Click on New in the top right corner.

  3. Fill in the Name and Time Zone fields as per your requirements, enter maintenance in the Type field, and then click Save.

  4. After completing the above step, click New in the bottom right corner under Schedule Entries.

  5. Fill in the Name and Repeats fields as per your requirements and then click Save.

  6. All, search for Patch WorkBench, and click Create New in the Patch Policy option.

  7. From the above step, schedule patching according to your requirements:
    • Apply filters as needed (e.g., by category).
    • Select the previously created schedule in the Patch Schedule field.
    • Click Save.
