    With the new JSONata editor in the Graphical Designer, you can catch expression errors before they reach production — testing against real run data without leaving your design environment.

    Now you can take precise control over your scheduling environment by defining exactly how workflows instances behave when their run times overlap.
  - New and improved dashboards for greater control

  - Search: navigate your canvas without scrolling
    The new Search tab in the Graphical Designer palette displays all workflows, tasks, and AI agents on the canvas in a hierarchical list, enabling you to find and select items without scrolling the canvas.
  - Personal settings: time format and table row preferences
    With two new Preferences settings, you can now set your preferred time format and choose how many rows tables are displayed, making the interface fit the way you work.
  - Flexible run options for subflow tasks

  In version 2.1.4 of HCL Universal Orchestrator, you can explore new orchestration capabilities including cross-plan dependencies, run cycle groups, dashboards, IMAP email events, endpoints, and a major expansion of the Agentic AI Builder.

Flexible run options for subflow tasks

Achieve greater flexibility and control over your workload by customizing the launch of your subflow tasks. This capability allows you to manage the exact start time and completion criteria of your subflow tasks. You can maximize your workload operation by configuring the following new attributes:


Fire and forget: Accelerate your workload processing. This option is ideal for triggering asynchronous processes where you do not need to wait for the nested workflow to complete.
	Start mode: Achieve precise control over when a subflow task begins. This control gives you the flexibility to separate the actual run of a nested workflow from the exact moment the initial subflow task runs. Rather than running everything immediately, this capability allows you to strategically delay the launch of nested workflows.
