Rerunning jobs in the plan
After you submit a job in the plan, you can customize and rerun it. This option is available for any job that has reached a final status. You can modify the values of the job attributes for a quick correction and rerun the job by modifying the original job definition.
About this task
If a job is not configured with a run cycle or if it fails for any reason, you can
manually rerun it. When you rerun a job, you can configure its scheduled date, time,
and priority. You can manually rerun a job by using one of the following methods:
- Rerun the job with the same definition.
- Rerun the job with another job definition.
Procedure
- From the home page, click the Orchestration Monitor tab.
- Select job from the drop down list.
- Select the specific job, and then click Rerun.
- Choose any of the following option from the drop down list to rerun the job:

Complete the applicable steps based on your selection in the previous step.
- Rerun using current job definition
- Click the edit icon for the Job field, and
then update the job definition.Note: When you click the edit icon, The Edit current job definition panel is displayed. The options displayed to modify the job are dynamic and depend on the job plug-in type.Example: For an executable job, the following options are displayed.

field, and then select a workstation. Note: Optionally you can set the following attributes for the rerun.
- Step: You can select a specific step in the job definition from which to rerun the job.
- Specify date and time and priority fields.
- Click Rerun.
- Click the edit icon for the Job field, and
then update the job definition.
- Rerun using another job definition
- Click the search icon for the Job
definition field, select a job, and then click
Select.Note: Optionally you can set the following attributes for the rerun.
- Step: You can select a specific step in the job definition from which to rerun the job.
- Specify date and time and priority fields.
- Click Rerun.

definition field, select a job, and then click
