To start the File Browser
About this task
You can start the File Browser from a command prompt with or without a view context.
Procedure
- With a view context, use the following command:
xversionvault &If you do not have a proper view context, File Browser prompts you to specify a view. - Without a view context, for a dynamic view, use a setview command
in the following format:
cleartool setview -exec xversionvault test_view - Without a view context, for a snapshot view, change directory to
the snapshot view root and use the following command:
xversionvault &
