To compare one version with another

Procedure

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, display the version tree of the element.
  2. Select a version in the Version Tree Browser display.
  3. Click Version > Diff > Selected vs. other.
    (The commands on the Diff menu are unavailable until you select the version to compare.)
    An "Selected vs. other" window and an "Enter other versions" window open.
  4. In the Enter other versions window, select the version to be compared with the first and click OK.

Results

A Diff Merge window (xcompare) displays the comparison of the two files.
