3. Nexthink OTB tool

Overview: Tool for executing Nexthink self-healing scripts, so that users can seamlessly trigger and monitor automated remediation actions on their devices directly through AEX.

Functions

• Get_user_devices – Retrieves all devices associated with a specific user.

• Get_device_details – Provides detailed information about a selected device.

• Trigger_Remote_action – Initiates a predefined remote action on a user’s device.

• Get_Action_Status – Returns the execution status of a previously triggered remote.

Configuration

Go to the Tool Library and search for the specific tool.

Usecase

• AEX should create a new DL, or add/remove users from an existing DL, by validating DL ownership before performing each requested action.
