Restore tab
Complete the following fields in the Restore tab. When you are done, you can click Test Formula to preview the restore path. (It should be the same as the backup path)
Field | Description |

Restore Db command | Choose File if you are doing a simple file system or network drive restore. This selection specifies that database content is restored from the same file location specified in the Backup target dir databases field in the Backup tab. Choose other options to configure restore with a third-party backup application. |
Restore translog command | Choose File if you are doing a simple file system or network drive restore. This selection specifies that transaction log data is restored from the same file location specified in the Backup target dir translog field in the Backup tab. Choose other options to configure restore with a third-party backup application. |
Restore snapshot command | Command for explicit Snapshot restore operations. If you enable snapshots for normal backups, the normal restore commands are used. For *.DELTA files the normal restore command is always used. |
Restore OK string | When formulas, agents, or command scripts are used, defines a string that when not found in the output indicates the restore operation failed. Can be used in conjunction with Restore error string. |
Restore error string | When formulas, agents, or command scripts are used, defines an error string that when found in the output indicates the restore operation failed. |
Restore DAOS command | To restore DAOS NLO files (requires a a third-party application to back them up) select File to restore them to disk or network drive or other options to restore with a third-party backup application. |
Restore DAOS is single file Cmd | If you select Enabled for this setting, the restore command is executed per NLO file. If not enabled, command is executed for a full text file containing all NLOs. |
Restore target dir DAOS | Defines the DAOS directory to restore into if the DAOS directory is not set. By default the notes.ini setting "DAOSBasePath" is used. |
Restore OK string | When command files or scripts are used, defines a string that when not found in the output indicates the operation failed. Can be used in conjunction with Restore error string. |
