About ClearCase® GitViews

A ClearCase® GitView is a ClearCase® snapshot view that is also a Git repository, allowing users to make changes with Git tools and submit them to ClearCase® using the ClearCase® GitView UI after a git push operation. The intended use is for a single user to access existing ClearCase® UCM projects using familiar Git tools, with ClearCase® remaining the system of record.
