Managing user activities

The administrator for the Remote Build server can use profiles in the FACILITY class to enable resource managers to control a user’s ability to perform an action.

About this task

Ask your Security Administrator to activate the FACILITY class and to define the necessary resource names within that class. Resource names start with the prefix BCC.REMOTE.BUILD. The complete resource name is created by appending the role ID to the prefix. For example, if you have role IDs RBDEVP, RBBULD and RBTEST, the corresponding resource names are:
  • BCC.REMOTE.BUILD.RBDEVP
  • BCC.REMOTE.BUILD.RBBULD
  • BCC.REMOTE.BUILD.RBTEST
To redefine the FACILITY class, the System Administrator types the following: 
RDEFINE FACILITY BCC.REMOTE.BUILD.RBDEVP 
PERMIT BCC.REMOTE.BUILD.RBDEVP 
CLASS(FACILITY)ID(RBUSER) 
ACCESS(READ)
