Specifying a prefix for messages returned to the client log file
Use the -P option to specify a prefix for messages returned to the client log file.
Syntax
–P prefix- prefix
- Specifies a prefix that is added to the front of the message files returned to the client by the server.

The following examples
set up a line prefix for messages that are recorded in the client
log (rccbuild.log) during a z/OS build run.rccbuild –h os390@47123 –b rcccomp –ft rcccomp.jcl –i banner.cob –P 122500
