Creating a public VOB

To create a public VOB, you must specify –public on the mkvob command line or select the Make this a public VOB check box in the VOB Creation Wizard. You must also supply the DevOps Code ClearCase® registry password.

If you specify –public but do not know the DevOps Code ClearCase® registry password (or this password has not been established), the VOB is created without a tag, and you must create the tag in a separate operation.
