About this task

To run a chart:

Procedure

Locate the chart in the workspace and perform one of the following actions:
- Double-click the chart.
- Select the chart, right-click it, and select Run.
- Select the chart and click Run Chart on the HCL Compass Toolbar.
- Select the chart and click Query > Run.
If the chart has one or more dynamic filters, you are prompted to define the filter criteria.
If you do not define the filter criteria, the filter is ignored when you run the chart.
Click OK.
The Chart window opens. The Result set and Query editor pages appear in the upper pane, and the chart graphic appears in the lower pane.

What to do next

If you have had the chart open for some time and want to rerun it to include any recent changes that users have made to the user database, click Run Chart on the HCL Compass toolbar.
