Activating the web cache monitor
You can use the web cache monitor to view and manage Search cache information.
About this task
Procedure
- In a file manager utility, go to the /opt/WebSphere/Liberty/usr/servers/default directory, and open the server.xml file for editing.

Add the XML element
<feature>webCacheMonitor-1.0</feature>
to the feature list to active the web cache monitor. -
When you are finished, the
featureManager
element should look something like the following:<featureManager> <feature>jsp-2.3</feature> <feature>jaxrs-2.0</feature> <feature>jpa-2.1</feature> <feature>servlet-3.1</feature> <feature>json-1.0</feature> <feature>jsonp-1.0</feature> <feature>localConnector-1.0</feature> <feature>distributedMap-1.0</feature> <feature>webCache-1.0</feature> <feature>concurrent-1.0</feature> <feature>appSecurity-2.0</feature> <feature>webCacheMonitor-1.0</feature> </featureManager>
- Restart the Search server.
