Administration
The Administration section helps you manage users and access control in BigFix UI.
Note: Administration section visible only to administrators.
Ensure you are logged in as an administrator to access this app.
Administration provides the tools needed to securely manage access to the BigFix UI. It includes:
- Application Configuration – Manage the modular applications and integrations that BigFix UI hosts, such as global DEX settings and IVR settings. The page lists each application as a card and shows whether it is configured, so that you can open the configuration page that the application team owns.
- Identity management – Manage users, roles, permissions, account policies, and identity provider configuration from one central place.
- System configuration – Manage the global settings that every application in BigFix UI shares. In this release, System configuration contains the SMTP settings that BigFix UI uses to send email, such as scheduled report deliveries.
Note: Identity management replaces the earlier User
management app. User and role management capabilities are now available from the
User & Role Management card in Identity management.
