Uninstalling the Coturn Service

Remove and permanently delete all components, images, and data of the Coturn Service for BigFix Mobile from a target server.

Before you begin

Ensure that no active Remote View sessions are currently relying on this Coturn instance before proceeding with uninstallation.

About this task

The Uninstall page triggers a complete cleanup of the Coturn Docker environment and associated data.

Procedure

  1. In the Modern Client Management side menu, navigate to Admin > Coturn Service > Update.
  2. In the Target Devices section, click Select.
    Choose the server where the Coturn Service (Version 3.6.0) is currently installed.
  3. Review the Description to confirm the scope of data deletion.
    Important: This action deletes all configuration files, data directories, logs, and TLS certificates. This data cannot be recovered.
  4. Click Deploy.

Results

The Coturn container is stopped, Docker images are removed, and the host directory is scrubbed of all service-related files.

What to do next

If your MDM Server was linked to this instance, navigate to Configure MDM Server to update the TURN endpoint settings and prevent Remote View connection failures.
