Known limitations

Refer to the below list of limitations in IVR v.4.0.0:

  • Ensure that the port number you choose during setup is not already in use.
  • Certificates must be valid to avoid configuration issues.
  • SQL DB credentials will fail if the setup process is interrupted.
  • During the IVR OnPrem Setup Process, in the Application Configuration page, ensure the port number you choose is not already in use by another service and is open in your firewall.
  • In the Certificate Configuration page, add proper certificates to avoid invalid issues
  • For the IVR Configuration manager, Database Configuration tab, SQL DB credentials fails once we stop the setup command from cmd. Since the setup process is down, we might get the error: Failed to fetch. Hence start the setup command and do the modifications.
  • There is no dependency on IVR database/Insights DB.
  • The non master will not be able to create Bes Resources under the DataSources Tab of IVR Configuration manager
  • To revert to a IVR2 or IVR3 , delete the token from the dbo.WEBUI_DATA table’s Name column in the BFEnterprise database.
