IMAP email event: trigger workflows from your inbox
The new IMAP Email Event trigger enables you to integrate your email infrastructure directly into your orchestration logic.
This connector monitors a remote IMAP server and automatically triggers a workflow submission upon detecting new incoming emails.
- Persistent monitoring
- The connector acts as a persistent service that periodically polls a specified mailbox folder to detect new, unseen messages.
- Secure connectivity
- Establish secure connections to your mail server using SSL/TLS or StartTLS protocols, with credentials safely stored in the secrets management service.
- Rich payload data
- Capture essential email details such as the sender, subject, body, and timestamp, and pass them as a JSON payload to your workflow for dynamic processing.
- Automated acknowledgment
- Define specific actions to take on the email after the event is generated, such as marking it as read, deleting it, or moving it to a specific folder to indicate successful processing.
