    • Version 2.1.6

      In version 2.1.6 of HCL Universal Orchestrator, workflow orchestration gains inline scripting, conditional run logic, and a live monitoring canvas; Docker and Podman deployment, Telegram channel support, and Agentic AI Builder updates round out the release.

      • Leverage advanced dashboard capabilities

        HCL Universal Orchestrator introduces enhancements to the dashboard interface, providing automated visualization adjustments, deeper metric exploration, and improved sharing utilities.

      • Workflow view in the Orchestration Monitor

        With the Workflow view, you can now open any plan workflow as a live flowchart in the Orchestration Monitor — seeing exactly which path ran, which task stalled, and which dependency blocked it.

      • Telegram channel for AI agent chatbots

        With Telegram channel support, your AI agent chatbot can now receive and respond to messages directly in Telegram — without requiring users to open the UI.

      • Inline Scripting tasks

        With Inline Scripting tasks, you can now run JavaScript or Python logic as a workflow step — without building or deploying a dedicated plug-in.

      • OCLI password encryption

        With Orchestration CLI password encryption, you can now export credential definitions with a portable, user-controlled key — importing them into any HCL Universal Orchestrator environment without touching the password fields.

      • Advanced run logic and task looping

        With the new Run logic panel in the Graphical Designer, you can now define when and how often a task runs using a JSONata expression, replacing conditional wrapper workflows with strategy-driven task-level control.

      • Deploying a lightweight and consistent environment by using Docker or Podman

        Deploying the HCL Universal Orchestrator in a containerized environment by using Docker or Podman enables you to create a lightweight and consistent infrastructure. This approach ensures high availability and protects your workload from downtime by supporting an active-active setup.

      • Managing and exporting historical task data

        While standard system behavior restricts you to viewing task runs within the current active plan, the Task Run History action allows you to easily access and review comprehensive historical data from previous plans. Furthermore, you can perform detailed offline analysis and verify data integrity by downloading your currently visible table data into multiple file formats.

      In version 2.1.5 of HCL Universal Orchestrator, discover new personal setting preferences, the Search tab in the Graphical Designer, and the integrated JSONata editor for expression testing.
