Leverage advanced dashboard capabilities

HCL Universal Orchestrator introduces enhancements to the dashboard interface, providing automated visualization adjustments, deeper metric exploration, and improved sharing utilities.

The following features have been added to the dashboard monitoring capabilities:

Drilldown navigation: Move instantly from a high-level summary chart to a detailed list of items in a new browser tab for faster troubleshooting.
  • Widget-level view: Click the toolbar icon to view all items monitored inside that widget.
  • Chart-level view: Click directly on a slice, bar, or line to filter the list to just that specific data point.
  • Real-time data: The resulting list always displays the current, real-time status of your items rather than historical data.
Kiosk mode: Turn your dashboard into a hands-free, full-screen presentation optimized for large overhead monitors.
  • Automated scrolling: The page automatically scrolls through all active widgets sequentially.
  • Simple controls: Press the Spacebar key to pause or resume the scrolling at any time.
Sharable dashboard links: Generate a web link to share a read-only view of your dashboard with other authorized users:
  • Open in a new tab: Open the dashboard in a separate tab and copy the unique link directly from the address bar of the browser.
  • Share panel: The Copy URL becomes available when you open the Share panel and select your target users or groups.
Bar chart sorting and limits: Customize your bar charts by sorting values (Ascending or Descending) and limiting the maximum number of bars displayed at once.

By combining these properties, you can get the following benefits:

  • View only top values: Automatically filter your charts to show only your "top" highest or lowest results. The widget isolates the exact number of top-tier items you specify and hides the rest.
  • Spot problems instantly: Quickly pinpoint your most critical areas, such as the workflows experiencing the highest delays or the most frequent errors, without having to look through a long list of successful items.
