To set a view

About this task

The methods to set a view for a dynamic view and a snapshot view are different.

Procedure

  • For a dynamic view, do the following steps:
    1. In the File Browser, click View > Set.
    2. In the Select view tag window, do one of the following:
      • In the Tag pane, navigate to and click a view tag.
      • In the Select view-tag field, type a view tag.
    3. Click OK.
    The File Browser sets context to the specified view at the same directory location.
  • For a snapshot view, navigate to the snapshot view root directory to set a snapshot view context.
