Specify the Linux or UNIX region of interest

About this task

You can specify the Linux or UNIX region using one of two methods:

Procedure

  • Method 1
    1. If the Synchronize VersionVault Regions window displays the wrong Linux or UNIX region name, click Change next to the Linux or UNIX region name.
    2. Complete the UNIX Region Name window.
    Note: If the UNIX Region Name window opens when you start the Region Synchronizer, supply the Linux or UNIX region name and skip Step 2. The UNIX Region Name window opens immediately if both of these conditions exist:
    • You did not specify a peer Linux or UNIX region for this host when you installed HCL VersionVault.
    • You did not save region configuration information during previous Region Synchronizer invocations.
  • Method 2
    1. Start the HCL VersionVault program in Control Panel.
    2. On the Registry page, specify a different Peer UNIX Region.
